Montgomery Gentry and Bret Michaels to Close Indian Ranch Season

Montgomery Gentry was formed in 1999 by Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, and released their debut album Tattoos & Scars the same year. The duo is known for its Southern rock influences, and has collaborated with Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, Five for Fighting and members of The Allman Brothers Band. Montgomery Gentry released six studio albums for Columbia Records' Nashville division:Tattoos & Scars (1999), Carrying On (2001), My Town (2002), You Do Your Thing (2004), Some People Change (2006), and Back When I Knew It All (2008) and a Greatest Hits package. These albums have produced more than 20 chart singles for the duo on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including the number 1 hits "If You Ever Stop Loving Me", "Something to Be Proud Of", "Lucky Man", "Back When I Knew It All" and "Roll with Me". Montgomery Gentry won both the Academy of Country Music Award and the Country Music Award for Duo of the Year in 2000, and they were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009. Their most recent album, Rebels on the Run, was released in October of 2011 under the Average Joe’s Record label. 

Bret Michaels brings the Life Rocks Tour 2012 to Indian Ranch on Sunday, September 23 at 2:00PM. Bret Michaels wears multiple hats as a rock star, reality star, spokesperson, businessman, and philanthropist. He first rose to prominence as the front man of the massively successful 80’s rock band Poison, which sold over 30 million records worldwide. The band has charted 10 singles in the Top 40 on Billboard's Hot 100 including the number-one single, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn." His solo career has been equally successful: his most recent solo album, "Custom Built," released in July of 2010, topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboard's Hard Rock list. Michaels has achieved success in the realm of reality TV as well. His "Rock of Love" television series is one of the most successful in VH1's history, and he has also appeared on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice.” This will be the end of season party to end all parties, a real rock and roll extravaganza with Bret Michaels.

Indian Ranch offers music lovers a chance to see some of the greatest country, roots rock, classic rock and pop bands steps from the sandy shore of Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.  Indian Ranch has hosted a star studded calendar of concerts this year including shows from Scotty McCreery, Wynonna and the Big Noise, Travis Tritt, Gretchen Wilson, Gavin DeGraw, Little Feat, The Bacon Brothers and more. Nestled between pine trees, the amphitheater offers the ability to see the stage from anywhere in the audience.
