Franklin Performing Arts Company has announced the following upcoming events:

Wednesday, July 25: Electric Youth, (EY) the international touring ensemble of talented singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts, will perform a free outdoor summer concert at Franklin Town Common at 6:00 p.m. Known for high-powered family entertainment with exciting choreography and impressive vocals, Electric Youth performs a wide range of music, including classic rock, contemporary pop and Broadway hits, designed to entertain and delight audiences of all ages. Tuesday, July 31: The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents the 5th annual Whatever Theater Festival from July 31 to August 4, with productions of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, Shakespeare’s The Tempest and One Acts. All performances are free of charge, with donations to FPAC gratefully accepted. A collection of One Acts will be performed at 8:00 p.m. at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), 38 Main Street. For more information, call FSPA at (508) 528-8668 or visit www.fpaconline.com. The Whatever Theater Festival is sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank and, in part, by grants from the Franklin, Norfolk, Plainville and Wrentham Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
