Chicago will continue to produce some of the most exciting work in the country this Fall. Offerings from the city’s more than 250 producing theatres include a wide variety of plays and musicals, as well as comedy, dance, festivals, and more.

Artistic Director Lauren Jonas has announced Diablo Ballet's 2022 - 2023 performance season featuring the Company premiere of Confetti by Gerald Arpino, which will be presented as part of his Centennial Celebration to honor what would have been his 100th birthday.

The Joffrey Ballet begins its 2022-23 season with Beyond Borders, a mixed repertory program that pays tribute to the Joffrey's maverick legacy with works by artists of its past and present.

Lake Tahoe Dance Collective (LTDC) presents the tenth annual Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, which will take place this summer from July 27-29, 2022 at venues in Tahoe City and Truckee, CA for in-person audiences. Tickets start at $25 and are available online at laketahoedancecollective.org. Portions of the event will also be available for free online viewing on the company’s website from Saturday, July 30 through Tuesday, August 2.

NBT’s 50th Anniversary Gala Performance will be held at The Smith Center on May 14.

The Joffrey Ballet and the American Guild of Musical Artists, the union that represents the Joffrey's 46 Company Artists and Joffrey stage management, have reached a new five-year collective bargaining agreement, beginning July 1, 2022, and running through June 30, 2027.

Project Ballet presents Nutcracker at the Embassy - a production for children, by children and about children. Now celebrating our eighteenth year, Project Ballet is a Fort Wayne based not-for-profit organization. Nutcracker at the Embassy features a cast of over 100 local children.

The Joffrey Ballet's Ashley Wheater MBE, The Mary B. Galvin Artistic Director and Greg Cameron, President and CEO are pleased to announce the addition of four dancers to the Joffrey roster for the 2021-22 season: Brian Bennett (Lanham, Maryland), Blake Kessler (Jacksonville, Florida), Yuchan Kim (Seoul, South Korea) and Miranda Silveira (Barcelona, Spain). With these new company members, The Joffrey Ballet has expanded to 43 dancers representing 13 countries.

Company member Daniel White will perform Touch Me by Gerald Arpino. Company members Claire Mazza and Alejandro Ulloa will present their duet Through You, and Posin will present an excerpt from her latest work Triple Sextet to Steve Reich's Pulitzer Prize-winning Double Sextet.

Verb Ballets has announced the 2021-22 roster of dancers. We welcome apprentices Isaac Hileman of Texas and Kia Jimmy of Canada. Cleveland School of the Arts graduate Demetrius Lee returns as a summer apprentice while he is attending Boston Conservatory. Local dancer Lily Cole, student of Inna Stabrova, joins as a trainee.
