Burning Coal Theatre will present KidsWrite! Festival 2024 on Friday May 24th and Saturday May 25th, 2024 at 6:30 pm.

All new videos have been released, featuring interviews with Joy Clark, or Janet Van De Graaff, as well as director Larry Sousa, of The Drowsy Chaperone at Lyric Stage Boston. Check out the videos here!

Under Larry Sousa’s wonderfully imaginative direction and with his choreography, a 16-person company of some of Boston’s brightest, most versatile performers is bringing the Canadian musical, with music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Gregg Morrison and book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, to dazzling life with delightfully silly production numbers aplenty and a well-served soupçon of heart-tugging emotion.

While a student at Thayer Academy in Braintree, actor, singer, and director John Ambrosino saw his earliest Broadway shows – from “Sunset Boulevard” to “Victor/Victoria” and, in his senior year, “Titanic” with Brian D’Arcy James, brother of the school’s then Head of Drama, Anne James.
