Each year the Motion Picture Sound Editors presents the MPSE GOLDEN REEL AWARDS, in which the origanization acknowledges the year's best work in the various areas of sound editing: Dialogue & ADR, Effects & Foley, and Music. MPSE just announced the 2014 nominees, and you can view the full list below!

The season is upon us, and as we rush to local stores to score the best presents for our families and loved ones, we should remember those who are less fortunate. Broadway performers Krista Buccellato (Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan), Kristy Cates (WICKED), Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys, Porgy and Bess, American Idiot), Eliseo Roman (In the Heights, Leap of Faith), and Jodi Stevens (Jekyll and Hyde, Urban Cowboy) have teamed up with the non profit theatrical group of young thespians from the tri state area - Kids Performing Who Kare. Together they will do their best to spread holiday cheer in the season of giving during its Broadway Christmas concert and dinner. This special evening will take place Today December 13th at the Rockville Links Club in Rockville Centre, NY.

Ryan Landry and the Gold Dust Orphans mash-up GREY GARDENS, Mrs. Grinchley, and IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE for a new holiday musical parody that is sure to earn its wings. Clever sets, delicious costumes, creative choreography, and new stars join the Orphans regulars to put on a show that is anything but horrible.

E! continues to give viewers the clever comedy they crave with weekly half-hour episodes of seasons two and three of the critically acclaimed, Emmy nominated web phenomenon “Burning Love.” In season two, psychologically damaged yet destined for the kind of love that is only found on reality TV, Julie Gristlewhite (June Diane Raphael) has her choice of hunky bachelors, including studs played by Michael Cera, Jerry O'Connell and Ryan Hansen. TWEED TheaterWorks & Theater 80 St. Marks have announced the highly anticipated NYC return of Varla Jean Merman with Boston's acclaimed Gold Dust Orphans in the New York premiere of MILDRED FIERCE, a dizzily entertaining sendup of the 1945 classic 'MildrEd Pierce', which will begin previews on Saturday, October 5that Theater 80 St. Marks. The production, written by Ryan Landry will have it's official opening tonight, October 12th at 10:30PM and will continue performances until October 27th.

On Saturday, June 29, 2013, award winning vocalist, Chris Williams, will be performing a concert for the official release of his new album 'Elizabeth: Songs Based on Pride & Prejudice' at Stadium Vineyard, 1531 S. Sinclair St. Anaheim, CA 92869. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 8:00 p.m. The new CD is being launched this year in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's timeless masterpiece. Ryan Landry and The Gold Dust Orphans introduce a new Christmas parody, starring a new leading hunk. Jesse James Wood is all bright and shiny in RUDOLPH THE RED NECKED REINDEER, based on the 1964 Rankin/Bass RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER. Costume designer Scott Martino and Choreographer Delta Miles have outdone themselves, and the veteran members of the troupe perform their usual hilarious magic.

truTV will exclusively televise the 2012 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic tonight, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 17, from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Action will begin with a doubleheader tonight, Nov. 16, with Brigham Young taking on Florida State at 7 p.m. ET, followed by Notre Dame and Saint Joseph's.
