Welcome to Desire Returns to AllWays Lounge and Theater in March by BWW News Desk (Jan. 25 9:39 PM) - Welcome to Desire, the fantastical reinterpretation of Tennessee Williams’ Streetcar Named Desire by Nari Tomassetti Presents returns to the AllWays Lounge and Theater for a second ribald run. Hailed by the NOLA Defender’s Jim Fitzmorris as containing “…the life force of (a) five day event” Welcome to Desire premiered at the 2011 New Orleans Fringe Festival to rave reviews. The show includes an original score by Matt Bell played live by his symphonic orchestra, epic battles of man versus beast, rollicking shadow puppets, punk rock divas, and wanton wildcats. |

Harbor Stage Company to Take Over Theatre at Wellfleet Harbor by BWW News Desk (Jan. 25 5:20 PM) - Recently founded Harbor Stage Company plans to take up residence at the iconic theater on Wellfleet Harbor in Summer 2012. The newly minted ensemble includes longtime Well?eet theater artists Amanda Collins, Jonathan Fielding, Stacy Fischer, Lewis Wheeler, and Brenda Withers, and will be led by Artistic Director Robert Kropf. |
